A revive warriors team faces same opponent after defeat

November 21, 2010 - NEMCO Warriors bounce back against SSCT, 92-66.

Dealing with disappointment after a dramatic loss against SSCT last November 19, 2010, 65-66, Coach Mondano give the team a lessons to learn wisdom. Nobody would have believe that the warriors will bow down with SSCT Builders, but then the point is yet to be proven. With a rematch against SSCT for the second round of the elimination, NEMCO Warriors shown it's class by winning a big margin, 92,66.

"It's been tough, when you know you have it in yours hands then suddenly it disappear. The impact to the players I know it's hard and I just hope that the players will learn from this and move on for the better." said coach Mondano after the friday's game.

The magnificent five of the Warriors (Ugay, Toring, Lopez R., Lopez J. Marquez) lead the warriors attack both offense and defense. Lopez ignited the offense with it's run and gun basketball and It is Marquez who exploded from the outside for the warriors with his three point shoots. Lopez, R., Toring, and Ugay were responsible in controlling the paint area for which the warriors was successful in stopping Cervantes for the SSCT.

"Everybody step-up and answers coach Mondano's call of playing defense and sharing  offensive basketball." Ugay says right after the blowout game with the SSCT Builders.

"We are on the right track again for a championship run this year for the 1st Nitoy Matugas Basketball tournament." Marquez added. Coach Mondano was determined to lead this team to a new level of playing basketball. Known for his educated wisdom, warriors is now back on track after a disappoint game.

"We are just preparing one game at a time, and the team is now getting ready for a big run and challenges ahead." said coach Mondano.
